The Property:

Welcome to Wallaringa Farm, your luxurious rural retreat in the heart of the Hunter Valley NSW. Nestled among rolling hills and lush pastures, our farm stay offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

The farmhouse comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults or 8 guests, including children. Our bathrooms are a haven of warmth and luxury, featuring waterfall showers, freestanding baths, and heated floors—a guest favorite! Inside, you'll find a spacious, open-plan living area bathed in natural light, offering breathtaking views of the undulating farmland. The large chef's kitchen is fully equipped for creating delicious meals. Cozy up on linen sofas for a game of chess by the architectural wood-burning fireplace, enjoy nostalgic tunes on the record player, or dive into a good book. We also provide board games and even an acoustic guitar for your entertainment. Outside, you'll discover various seating areas designed for relaxation and connection, whether with loved ones or with nature. The expansive green lawn is perfect for picnics or a game of soccer, and the fire pit invites you to share stories and meals cooked over an open flame.

About your local community:

The Hunter Valley community is a vibrant tapestry of local artisans, winemakers, and farmers. Immerse yourself in the rich culture of the area by visiting local markets, sampling award-winning wines, and engaging with the friendly locals who call this beautiful region home.

What is your favourite thing to do at this property:

Can I only choose one? Wallaringa Farm truly offers a chance to slow down and savor life's simple pleasures, which I crave after the fast pace of city life. Everyday acts become moments of joy, from brewing a coffee with freshly roasted beans to listening to vinyl on the record player. There's nothing quite like sitting around the fire pit at sunset, soaking in nature's soundtrack of birdsong and the crackle of the fire as the sky shifts from cool blue to vibrant pink. For those looking to elevate their stay, we can arrange private in-house wine tastings featuring the best of the Hunter Valley, along with breakfast hampers, grazing boxes, and even chef-prepared farm-to-table dinners, all right here at the farm.

What is your favourite trip close by:

A trip to the quaint Australian town of Morpeth is always lovely. Stroll through its charming country boutiques, indulge in treats from the old-fashioned lolly shop, and stock up on delicious goodies from the local deli. I highly recommend visiting Boydell's Cellar Door too. If you can, make sure to enjoy a lunch or dinner at their restaurant—it's lovely.

Guests should not forget to pack their….

Boots! Don't forget to pack comfortable shoes and a sense of adventure! Whether you’re visiting local wineries, or embarking on a bushwalk, you'll want to be prepared to make the most of your stay.

How did you come to offer accommodation in the bush?

Truth be told, we are actually accidental hosts! We opened our big barn door to guests in early 2023 and haven't looked back. We just love sharing the beauty and serenity of this land with others who have the same values as us; it's such a pleasure. Our goal is to leave the land in the best possible condition for future generations, and inviting guests to experience it firsthand is a wonderful part of that mission.

Come stay with us in the bush! This is where cherished memories are made, and we can't wait to share this special place with you.
