Wallaringa Farmhouse is located in the Hunter Valley countryside, conveniently between Dungog and Paterson townships, so you can explore both areas with ease. A brand new farm house with amazing views, close to beaches, vineyards and more. Dungog is a beautiful historic town by the Williams River, near the spectacular Barrington Tops National Park. Enjoy a stay in this picturesque river region and enjoy bushwalking and mountain bike trails, gold rush heritage and delicious markets. Paterson is a picturesque riverside town with fascinating heritage, grand colonial buildings and vintage trains. Soak up the ambience as you relax in old country pubs and explore the historic walks of this charming town, once a busy inland port in colonial times. What is your favourite thing to do at this property:
Our favourite spot would have to be the verandah, life can’t get much better than sitting here on the comfortable deck chairs with your morning coffee or favourite sundowner, soaking in the bush vistas at sunset.
What is your favourite trip close by:
This is a tricky one, as there is so much amazingness to explore. For nature enthusiasts, Ladies Well is a must visit, especially in the warmer months. Escape the heat, and dive into the cool waters of the Allyn River surrounded by large granite boulders in the lush rainforest at the foothills of the World Heritage Barrington Tops. About an hours drive from Wallaringa, pack a picnic and make a day of it. It is truely spectacular.

How did you come to offer accommodation in the bush?
We originally re-built the original farmhouse at Wallaringa Farm with our family in mind. However we have decided to share the magic with others looking for a peaceful retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you want to explore the Hunter Valley, mountain bike ride, birdwatch or simply relax by the campfire, there’s something for everyone here.
