Blythswood Cottage

Wallabadah, NSW (4 hours from Sydney)

On this 500 acre property, there's plenty of space for the kids to run around! Light the fire pit to roast marshmallows as you watch the sun set behind the mountains and the Milky Way appear. Then, take a day trip to Nundle for coffee and a stroll through the historic shops. Pack a picnic to enjoy at Sheeba Dams and head up to the Hanging Rock Lookout for some great views.

Mittagong Talia

Eldorado, VIC (3 hours from Melbourne)

Mittagong Talia is a comfortable off-grid retreat that's surrounded by nature and abundant in animal life. Wandarra Homestead

Glen Alice, NSW (3 hours & 15 minutes from Sydney)

The heart of Wandarra Homestead is to spend time together and create lasting memories. Make the most of your stay with a 5pm checkout on Sundays! You can enjoy the panaromic views from the property, or head 20 minutes into either Mudgee or Rlystone for a great morning out. Travel further onto Goulburn River National Park to visit The Drip - a walking track alongside sandstone cliffs.

Hilton Homestead

Mandurama, NSW (3.5 hours from Sydney)

Enjoy an al fresco lunch before playing one of the fun lawn games provided by your hosts. Head to the nearby historical town of Carcoar to browse the boutiques and dine at the Italian restaurant Antica Australis. It's a 10 minute drive away, or you could cycle the back roads to take in the scenery. Visiting the local farmer's markets could be a great activity if you're staying over the right weekend - head to Blayney, Bathurst or Orange.

Pokolbin, NSW (2 hours from Sydney)

The Country House is the largest of Corunna Station's accommodation offerings - they also have the Cook's House (sleeps 4) and The Homestead (sleeps 6).
